BMW New X3

Model launch date:

The new BMW X3 is expected to be launched in India by May 2025.

Feature list:

The X3 wears a bigger signature kidney grille with a glowing border. Further, it gets new L-shaped DRLs in the redesigned headlamps, new design for the alloy wheels, and a repositioned number plate recess from the tailgate to the bumper.

Inside, the cabin of the X3 features a curved display with the new iDrive 9 operating system, redesigned centre console, fixed panoramic sunroof, 14.9-inch touchscreen infotainment system, and a coloured heads-up display.

Engine, performance, and specifications:

The global-spec BMW X3 is available with a 2.0-litre plug-in hybrid powertrain that has a tuned output of 300bhp. Besides this, the SUV can also be had with a 3.0-litre turbocharged six-cylinder motor that produces 398bhp and 580Nm of peak torque. An eight-speed automatic gearbox is offered as standard across all variants.

Variants:

The X3, when launched in India, will be offered in multiple variants.

Safety:

The new-generation BMW X3 has not been crash-tested yet.

Competition:

The BMW X3 will be a direct rival to the Mercedes-Benz GLE, Audi Q5, Land Rover Discovery Sport, and the Volvo XC60.
