I have a Ford Fiesta 1.4 EXI Durotorq

I have a Ford Fiesta 1.4 EXI Durotorq which I have been using since 2006 December. Mileage is about 15-16 kmpl in the city with A/c on. The real advantage is when you take it out on the highway when the mileage improves upto about 22-24kmpl. This is a new age diesel, and unlike older diesels, is clean, silent, quick and relatively maintenance-free! I doubt that you will get a 2-3 year old Diesel Fiesta as this is a vehicle that one should hold on to for at least 5 years! My vehicle has completed 4 years, and is still running as well as it did on day 1! If you get one, get it thoroughly checked at the nearest ford outlet and if the vehicle is in good condition, BUY IT! you will not regret your decision!

I do not understand why would launch a new classic when a fabulous looking new car is going to be launched in June/July. That looks like a car to buy and not a renamed Fiesta which has been around in India for many years. Ford thinks that most Indians are gullible.

The New Fiesta from the FORD stable is one hell of a Scorcher and is sure to make heads turn with its hot and superb kinetics. I will not be surprised if it obliterates competition !!! It has some path breaking features which are one of a kind neatly packaged and if they are able to match it with penetrative pricing, we surely have a killer of a car indeed....!!! Will make others in its class look a distant second .... Great piece of design, aesthetics and engineering.

I have Ford Fiesta and I travel appx 90 kms per day. The car is giving me a good mileage. It is 21-22 kmpl of Diesel on Daily basis .On highway driving once to Jaipur from Delhi it gave 26 kmpl. As far as service is concern I get it done every 10000kms,but not happy with the washing quality.

Go for the Fiesta Classic CLXI. It gives you good mileage, great-to-drive and is currently the best buy in the category.

Ford has not compromised its features, rather they have placed it in the mid size segment making way for the New Global Fiesta to fill in the shoes of a more upmarket sedan in the range of the previous fiesta. The fiesta classic has been launched{rather prices slashed} to compete with the likes of etios, dzire and manza. So in all, you get the same old fiesta. However, there are a few cons of buying a ford product. 1> Ford's reputation of a costly spare parts may hurt. 2> Before the launch of Figo, their after sales centers were blamed for rising the bills and improper service. However, after the success of Figo, and the number of rising customers Ford seems to be working in this front. 3> Once Fiesta was launched, it was with the USP of giving the best mileage in its class. However some people using the petrol were bothered but the Diesel owners are a happy lot. With the entry car even including power steering{Which you wont find in entry etios} and both power windows, collapsible steering, a display unit with distance to empty and stuff{ unavailable in Dzire Lxi,Manza Aqua and Etios base version} you ought to be sure that Ford has packed a lot of features in a good pricing and keeping the previous reputation of an upmarket sedan in line.
