Hyundai Palisade

Model launch date:

The Hyundai Palisade could be launched in India in July 2025.

Feature list:

On the design front, the new Palisade gets a chrome-finished grille, vertically stacked two-piece LED DRLs, quad projector headlamps, revised rear bumper, new 20-inch dual-tone alloy wheels, and auto-dimming ORVMs.

The interiors of the model will be equipped with features in the form of a 12-inch touchscreen infotainment system, sleeker AC vents, four-spoke multifunction steering wheel, new fully digital instrument cluster, digital IRVM, heated seats for the third row, and Hyundai Digital Key.

Engine, performance, and specifications:

The Hyundai Palisade full-size SUV is expected to be powered by a 3.8-litre, V6, turbo-petrol engine with an output rated at 291bhp and 355Nm of torque, paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission. It remains to be seen if the India-spec model will get a diesel powertrain at launch.

Variants:

The Palisade is likely to be available in three variants, namely Prestige, Platinum, and Signature.

Safety:

The new Hyundai Palisade has not been tested by an NCAP body as yet.

Competition:

Once launched, the Palisade three-row SUV will rival the Toyota Fortuner, MG Gloster, Skoda Kodiaq, and the Jeep Meridian.
