Kia New EV9

Model launch date:

The Kia EV9 is expected to be launched in India by mid-2024.

Feature list:

On the outside, the Kia EV9 features a blanked-off grille, vertically stacked LED headlamps, Z-shaped LED DRLs, contrast-coloured skid plates, a dual-tone rear bumper, Y-shaped LED tail lights, a shark-fin antenna, and an integrated spoiler with a high-mounted stop lamp.

Inside, the SUV comes equipped with a four-spoke steering wheel, a large single-piece screen on the dashboard that houses the instrument console and infotainment system, a floating centre console, and captain seats for the second row.

Engine, performance, and specifications:

Details regarding the powertrain of the EV9 SUV remain unknown at the moment. It is believed that the model could return a range of 500kms on a single charge.

Variants:

The EV9 could be offered in two variants, including HT Line and GT Line.

Safety:

The Kia EV9 has not been tested by an NCAP organization.

Competition:

There are no direct rivals to the EV9. In terms of pricing, the model could compete with the Mercedes-Benz GLS, BMW X7, and the Audi Q7.
