Save your money dont buy Mercedes C200

        05/28/2023 14:56:31 | jitendra

Me and my brother wanted to upgrade from Audi A3 after 5 years of wonderful experience overall. After much thought and comparison i decided to buy new Mercedes C200 and my brother decided for 3 series Limo both petrol, we both took delivery of our new cars on same day in July 2022. After driving this car for last 10 months, and 6350 Kms 1.The car engine is so much under power- I guess they have tweaked their demo car engine to cover the inefficacy. 2.Huge lag in acceleration - cant rely on engine at all, as it takes its own sweet time to catch up. I bet this car cant even match verna or any other car of similar rage. 3.Massive rave noise - press hard for acceleration and the car makes thundering noise as if it has reached 200km per hr which you realise is not even 50kmpl - initially i got scared of huge noise the car engine makes. 4.Erratic engine response - sudden jerk in initial acceleration when u dont need it and thats because of additional power from additional electric power asist which comes at very wrong time and is always missing when u need the most. 5.Poor Milage - A compromise on engine Capacity and additional EQ (battery) made expect to get better milage which is around 7kmpl in city 6.Ground clearance is further reduced - i always knew the car doesn't have good clearance, but to my surprise this gets worst, with full occupancy it becomes impossible to drive, it had so happened that i had to even ask my guest to get down so that i could cross breaker - and i am not exaggerating i can prove this. 7.Break pad noise - the braking noise is more than what a truck or bus would make, please find audio clip attached, i had complained this to service centre to which they are saying this model has problem and they will be replacing once the new brake pad arrive and its been 10 months in waiting 8.Active brake assist - couple of times narrowly scaped someone baging my car due to suddent brakes applied on its on due to brake asist. Everytime you start your car you have to de-activate brake asist, you forget this and easily you could be victim of a accident. This may work abroad but not on indian roads, why could they not give option to disable until you make it enable again. 9.Interior Air circulation mode - the air circulation mode getting off every few minutes you have to keep switching every 10 min or so which is not possible and you get outside air in cabin, again a feature not for indian condition and should have been corrected like brake assist. 10. Poor control & wobble ride - last nail in the coffin the ride quality is wobbling C200 Vs 3 series Limo First day i was happy comparing mine vs 3 series limo, soon the bmw scored much higher in every aspect compared to C200. There is no comparison in these two. BMW wins hands down, wish i had chosen. The 3 series limo is fantastic car to drive, its a driver’s dream car, better milage despite of bigger engine, and in absence EQ mode like in Mercedes C200 Whats good in C200 ?? Its nothing except for the looks Verdict the experience of driving 65 lakh car is even lower than of 6 lakh and i regret my decision so much as if i have thrown my hard earn money in drain I planned to sell my car but the offer what i am getting is so bad cant even mention. i guess lot many people already know now about these problems.

The car has an active brake assist feature which is crazy mad. It will go bonkers in the middle of an empty road. Highly accident prone vehicle
