General Motors India has launched the 2015 Chevrolet Enjoy facelift at a starting price of Rs. 6.24 lakh (ex-showroom, New Delhi). The new Enjoy receives minimal exterior alterations, while significant updates have been made inside the cabin.
The updated model gets a rear chrome garnish on the license plate and black B-pillar. Though, the overall exterior styling and dimensions remain unchanged. Inside, the car gets a new steering wheel with silver inserts and mounted audio and Bluetooth controls, glossy black finish on armrests, new dual-tone leatherette fabric upholstery and chrome detailing on inner door handles, AC vents, gear knob and parking brake lever. Safety features such as dual front airbags, ABS (anti-lock braking system) and EBD (electronic brake-force distribution) are available only on the top-end model.
On the exterior, the new Enjoy features ‘Leaf Style’ fog-lamps, a triple-pod design turn indicators, three-dimensional grille and chrome surround meshed airdam. The MPV is available in six color options – Summit White, Linen Beige, Velvet Red, Sandrift Grey, Switchblade Silver and Caviar Black.
Powering the facelifted Enjoy is the same 1.3-litre and 1.4-litre petrol engines that did duty to the old model. The former produces a maximum power of 100PS and 131Nm of torque, while the latter offers 74.8PS and 172.5Nm. Both the powertrains are paired with a 5-speed manual transmission. The 2015 Chevrolet Enjoy facelift will continue to be available in three variants – LS, LT and LTZ – with 7-seat and 8-seat configuration options.
