At the 2023 Auto Expo, Maruti Suzuki showcased the eVX concept as a preview of the direction it would take for its electric future. It has now been made official that the production version of this car will be launched in the Indian market in FY 2024.
The eVX in production guise will spawn a Hyundai Creta/Kia Seltos rival. The car will be 4.3 metres long and it is confirmed that it will get a 60kWH battery pack and have a range of 550kms putting it square in the middle of what is expected from future vehicles in this segment.
The exterior design is expected to be toned down from the concept car but will sport many elements like the wheels, headlamp set up and of course the design of the tail lamps. The cabin has not been revealed but we know it will get features like the 360-degree camera package, HUD, 9.0-inch display for the touchscreen system and most likely powered and ventilated seats.
