Offering new reason to celebrate this festive season, Toyota has launched the refreshingly new Liva hatchback in India for Rs 5.76 lakh for petrol and Rs 6.79 Lakh for diesel (Both ex-showroom, Delhi). The new hatchback is available across all Toyota dealerships in the country. Speaking more on the occasion, Mr. Akitoshi Takemura, Senior Vice President, Toyota Kirloskar Motor Pvt. Ltd. said, “It is our endeavor to continuously upgrade our offering in line with the changing lifestyle preferences of our customers and with Etios Series being received “Most Promising Brand 2015” by Economic Times and we are confident, the New Liva will further delight our customers this auspicious season”.
Under the hood, the new Toyota Liva continues to be powered by 1.2-litre petrol engine produces 78bhp at 5600 rpm and 104 Nm of torque at 3100 rpm, while the diesel variant continues to be powered by 1.4-liter D4D engine generates 66bhp of power at 3800 rpm and 170nm of torque in-between 1800-2400rpm. Both the engines continue to be offered with 5-speed manual transmission.
As part of fresh upgrades, the new Toyota Liva is offered in dual-tone paint scheme with contrasting black top in two color options - White and Red. The black shade has also been carried on to the grill, roof spoiler and ORVM (Outside Rear View Mirror). The new Liva rides on 185/60 cross-section 15-inch radials with new diamond cut alloy wheels. As for the interiors, it gets new dual-tone upholstery and faux wood finish.
