Nissan Sunny facelift has been launched in India in eight variants in both petrol and diesel guise. Automatic trim is also available on the petrol variant. The base petrol MT model is priced at Rs 6.99 lakh, CVT petrol trim on the other hand is available for Rs 8.91 lakh. Diesel range of new Nissan Sunny sedan begins at Rs 7.99 lakh (all prices mentioned as ex-showroom, Delhi prices). The sedan has received several cosmetic changes on the exterior including a new chrome garnished trapezoid grille, large boomerang-shaped headlights, revised front bumpers and a small bootlid spoiler with a stoplight has been added to the rear. The entry level variant gets primary safety features like Anti-Lock-Braking-System (ABS) with Electronic Brakeforce Distribution (EBD) System and driver airbag as standard provisions. The high end trim has been bestowed with additional safety features like brake assist, engine immobiliser, and front passenger side airbag.
The petrol range of Sunny facelift is armed with a 1.5 litre petrol engine yielding a top power of 98 Bhp. Diesel trims have been loaded with a 1.5 litre dCi engine that is coupled to a five-speed manual transmission. Petrol variants are available in both five-speed manual and a CVT gearbox.
