Renault's domestic sales in October 2016 were at 12,409 units, as against 7,396 units sold during October 2015. This shows a strong growth of 67.8 per cent.
Renault India also achieved the milestone of selling one lakh vehicles from Jan-Oct this year. To be precise, 1,11,387 Renault vehicles have been sold this year showing the continuous growth of the brand. Even if the carmaker has not given out the model-wise break-up of sales numbers, the highlight in the boost of sales numbers continues to be the Kwid compact hatchback. The facelifted Duster and Lodgy also continue to have a fairly good demand pushing the overall sales numbers.
Renault's continuous efforts in growing in the Indian market can be clearly seen due to the demand of their vehicles. And it’s not just that, in fact, the automaker is also focused on opening new dealerships across the country to strengthen their after-market sales. With this as their aim, they plan to open 270 outlets all over India by the end of this year. Currently there are 250 facilities across the country to take care of customer needs.
