Royal Enfield has launched the Rumbler 500 (Thunderbird 500) in Indonesia for RP 82,000,000 (Rs 3.98 lakh). The Rumbler 500 was introduced at the opening of their new store at West Pejaten in Jakarta. This motorcycle has been specifically aimed for those Indonesian users who prefer the definitive cruiser style for touring purposes.
When introducing Royal Enfield motorcycles, Rudy said, "The Rumbler 500 is suitable for driving long distances, has good ergonomics, excellent braking power and boasts great visibility while driving at night. He added that the Rumbler combined models using the all-black design trademark with the 500cc Unit Construction Engine (UCE). This motors delivers 27.2bhp using an electronic fuel injection system along with a torque of 41.3Nm. The Rumbler 500 is designed to create a different character on the streets of Indonesia."
The Rumbler 500 will join Royal Enfield’s current product portfolio which includes the Continental GT, the Classic 350 and 500, Bullet 500 EFI and the Bullet 350 in the Indonesian market.
