The special edition Tata Zest Premio has been launched in India at Rs 7.53 lakhs (ex-showroom New Delhi). The launch of this edition marks the production milestone of 85,000 units of the sedan in the country.
The overall design of the car is the same save for some enhancements that liven up its looks. For instance, the roof gets a glossy black finish instead of the titanium grey or platinum silver body colour it's offered in. Piano black ORVMs and dark grey coloured wheel covers help distinguish it from the regular variants. The tail gate features a 'Premio' badge, while potential buyers can also opt for a black spoiler as an accessory. The cabin features new seat fabric with contrast stitching and Premio branding. It is colour co-ordinated with a new chic tan finished mid pad on the dashboard.
This special edition Zest Premio will come powered by the Fiat-sourced 1.3-litre four-cylinder diesel motor. It churns out 74bhp of power and 190Nm of torque and comes mated to a five-speed manual transmission. There's no petrol model or AMT transmission available.
We are expecting the Tata Zest Premio to get features on par with that of the XM or XMS trim. Prospective buyers can get more details from authorised Tata dealerships and Tata's official website.
