The Future Toyota Adventure Concept or the FT-AC is the latest SUV concept that has been teased by Toyota. Slated to debut at the LA Auto Show later this month, the brand has, for now, put out a teaser silhouette of a big fat SUV.
You can clearly see the high-riding stance with the flared wheel arches covered by black cladding and the black stemmed ORVMs that jut out. It gets LED headlamps and LED fog lamps as well, but what gives us hope that it will be a pedigreed utility machine are the roof mounted LED bars.
Well, we have been through this before, when Toyota had teased the FT-4X concept earlier this year. Harking back to the FJ-40’s legacy, the FT-4X turned out to be a mere crossover soft-roader, missing the FJ’s essence by a country mile.
But, the FT-AC looks bigger and brawnier and we hope it gets all the off-road gear like four-wheel drive, independent suspension and a meaty engine. But to know all about that, we will have to wait till 30 November, when the FT-AC will be unveiled in Los Angeles.
