  I have recently purchased the Hyundai Getz Prime, which can be called an asset. This car from Hyundai is a compact hatchback, which is loaded with a powerful engine. Now I proudly own the Hyundai Getz Prime 1.3 GLX, which has 1341 cc petrol engine. The car generates power of 80 hp at 5500 rpm, which helps it delivering excellent performance on road. Exterior of Getz Prime is extremely impressive as it has compact look. Being a youngster, I am impressed by the design of this car. Endowed with simple design lines, this car can impress any passer-by. Around the side panel, the new clear lens headlamp curves round. Apart from the exterior, the interior of this car is also quite impressive. The slightly grey color plastic decorates the interior of this vehicle. The lower half of the dashboard is complemented by light grey plastic. It also has convenient and easy-to-read instrument cluster, which provide sophisticated look. The interior of this vehicle is extremely spacious and it has sufficient legroom, headroom and shoulder room. This provides maximum comfort. I feel quite comfortable, while going for long drives. The 60:40 split rear seats also provides maximum cargo space. Hence, sufficient luxury space can be created.

  Getz is an excellent car

  This is an excellent trouble free car. Just needs the basic maitanience if kept well, can give you a good mileage of about 12. I have a 1.3 CC GLE version in Delhi. The mileage for the 1.1 will presumably be more, but the power and comfort / driving smoothness shall be better in 1.3. Also, the mileage will depend a lot on the traffic and your driving skills.   I up-graded from Hyundai Getz Prime from the older Hyundai Getz

  I up-graded from Hyundai Getz Prime from the older Hyundai Getz only because of improved luxury and safety features. Getz prime has also advanced in terms of exterior styling and design. The most evident feature is a more rounded structure that makes it futuristic in design. Another favourable aspect is a better city and highway mileage of 12.6 km per litre and 16.2 km per litre respectively. The 1.5 GVS CRDi diesel engine comes with a displacement of 1493cc. This diesel engine has the capacity of generation maximum power of 110bhp. The interior of Getz Prime still remains the same as the old version, however, there are certain minor improvements. Apart from ample legroom and head room, the air-conditioning quality is better paired with comfortable seating. Getz Prime has also added an option for Anti-Lock Braking System(ABS), which was missing in the earlier version. Other safety features include 3 rear seat belts, manually adjustable driver and passenger seats, central locking and child safety locks. Considering the in-cabin luxury and comfort features, there is still lack of features like an entertainment unit, rear centre arm rest, rear AC vents and automated climate control. In summary, a lot of improvement is still required , however, on the performance front, Hyundai Getz Prime is not a disappointment.

  I have owned this premium hatchback

  I have owned this premium hatchback, Hyundai Getz, since it was launched in the Indian car market. The car is performed exceptionally well with a 1.1 litre 4 cylinder engine that is capable of delivering an optimum fuel efficiency of 11 km per litre in cities and 15.8 km per litre on highways. The 1086cc engine produces maximum power output of 67ps at the rate of 5500rpm and peak torque of 102nm at the rate of 3200rpm. Hyundai Getz comes with various exterior equipments such as clear lens headlamps, elegantly designed front grille and trendy fog-lamps. Coming towards the interior, being a hatchback, this car has optimum space paired with comfortable and superior quality seating. Along with that, features like instrument cluster with a tachometer, 60/40 rear split seats and safety equipment increase the comfort while driving. There are various simple yet effective security features including central locking system, child safety locks and standard clutch lock. The most useful feature I find in Hyundai Getz is standard air-conditioning system, remote fuel lid opening, folding rear seats and steering adjustment. However, when we consider modern features that are present in the new cars today, Hyundai Getz is definitely lacking far behind.

  Second hand Diesel vehicle should always be better avoided

  Second hand Diesel vehicle should always be better avoided. Reason is that Diesel Vehicle has much higher maintenance cost and after expiry of warenty , free service, it starts giving you much headache.Diesel vehicle is more prawn to maintenance and cost of the parts are much higher than it's counterpart Petrol. However, if your usage of car is more than 60KM per day , new Diesel vehicle is your only option.

  Getz vs. Swift

  Getz is a practical family car for city use with good levels of comfort and styling. Swift if a little better on power which can also be helpful for long drives outside the city (but a little cramped). If you have a small family, go in for the Swift, else a Getz is a more practical and comfortable car for the entire family

  I am a satisfied user of Getz Prime 1.3

  I am a satisfied user of Getz Prime 1.3. I feel that there will be more demand from potential purchasers for good hatchback as their second car and Getz fill that gap quite nicesly especially the INdian market has now seen premium hatchbacks like Fabia, i20 and Jazz. Hence Hyundai may reconsider totally phasing out Getz from Indian market and my even think of repositioning it with some modifications suting Indian tastes with the 1.1 Lit engine. I would rather say Santro is getting older and aging and may be considered for phasing out as buyers are now becoming more demanding and not just fuel economy.

  last week I bought a Getz prime 1.1 GVS. It is a good car and a real pleasure to drive. specially the gear shifts are very smooth. My suggestion its a good car value for money.

  Hyundai Getz diesel was a good car.

  Hyundai Getz diesel was a good car. Very recently i came to know from the dealer that the Company has/will be stopping the production in order to promote i20. If you are looking for a petrol in Hyundai Getz, it is quite comfortable to drive.
