Alfa Romeo on the occasion of its 150th birthday, unveiled the new Giulia in Milan. It is being said that this Alfa Romeo Giulia will be a tough competition to the high-end BMW 3-series. Powered through a 503 bhp, the car would be able to Go from 0 to 62 in merely 3.9 seconds. Other than this, a large number of efforts have been put in to reduce the overall weight of the vehicle. The double wish bone suspension has been carved out of aluminium and aligned in a setup of semi-virtual steering. Extensive use of carbon fibre has also been made to build the roof, bonnet, and the propeller shaft of the vehicle.

The doors, wings, and other sub frames have also been made of aluminium, which makes this car as light as 1500 kg when compared to the other variants. The company didn’t roll out many details about the technical specifications of the vehicle, but nevertheless, this 503 bhp engine powered vehicle has a rear wheel drive. It is being said that the car will be available in the engine variations of 1.4L and 1.8L four cylinder turbo petrol engine while four cylinders and V6 options in diesel.
