DC Design recently revealed a customized Ford EcoSport with some major modifications done to its exteriors and interiors. Prominent changes can be seen on the front façade, which have completely distinguished its appearance from the original company design. Unlike the regular EcoSport, there is no chrome to be seen on the front fascia and grille. In similar context, interiors too have been completely renovated to cast a new look. In a nutshell, the five-seater Ford EcoSport completely modified to an exclusive four-seater urban Sports Utility Vehicle (SUV).
Major changes have been done to the front portion of this compact utility vehicle. Original headlights are gone and in place of them, LED lights have been introduced. Headlights now have been added to the front bumper, just above fog lamps. Mesh type front grille is also new for more air intake. The original body colour has been replaced with a dark metallic sheen to match with new changes done to the utility vehicle. Furthermore, the Ford emblem has been replaced by the logo 'DC', referring to the new design curator.
Elaborate changes have been done to interiors of this compact SUV. Interestingly, to accommodate more luxury and space, five-seat configuration has been turned into a four-seat system. This is a good thing for those looking forward for luxurious drives, but comes as a surprise to people who think otherwise. The front passenger seat can be folded easily for extra leg rest for the rear passenger. Rear seats are now electrically adjustable. The backrest can also be adjusted to a certain degree for more comfort.
The DC EcoSport vehicle boasts of a new air con blower unit on the front armrest for pampering rear seat passengers. DC Design has made some other additions like two large LCD displays for rear passengers too in order to make for a pleasure and most comfortable drive. According to reports, there is more in store, but all details of the custom car have not been disclosed so far. DC Design is yet to reveal the cost of customization, however one can think it to be around Rs. 3.5 lakh. Earlier, DC Duster was made available at a customization cost of 3.5 lakh. Thus, a similar price has been quoted for DC EcoSport too.
