Fast & Furious 6, the latest flick in the hit action movie franchise, released on Friday, March 24, 2013, across the country. The six part is pegged to be the most engrossing one in the series, which has set a benchmark for contemporary car movies featuring highly intense action sequences and screenplay that ensure all-round edge of the seat entertainment.
The storyline of Fast & Furious 6 brings together Vin Diesel and Paul Walker in their arguably most famous roles as 'Dominic Torreto aka Dom' and 'Brian O'Conner', respectively. Diesel returns with a bang behind the wheels of his beloved 1969 Dodge Charger Daytona American muscle in the latest flick. Unlike the past few movies this time, however, the villain cast looks pretty intimidating with the likes of Luke Evans and Jason Statham (of the Death Race and Transporter acclaim) in major roles. Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson makes a comeback as the FBI agent 'Luke Cobbs' and is seen driving a Gurkha armour truck in the movie trailers.
Jordana Brewster as 'Mia Torreto' and Michelle Rodriguez as 'Letty Ortiz' are the respective flames of Walker and Diesel in Fast & Furious 6. The other supporting cast members in Fast & Furious 6 include Tyrese Gibson as Roman Pearce, Chris 'Ludacris' Bridges as Tej Parker, Sung Kang as Han, Gina Carano as Riley, Elsa Pataky as Elena Neves and Gal Gadot as Gisele Harabo.
Plot goes like this, the gang of Dom and O'Conner gets scattered across the globe after the $ 100 million Rio heist (Fast Five). Meanwhile, the FBI agent Cobbs is chasing a group of skilled mercenary drivers spread across 12 countries, whose alleged mastermind is aided by Dom's supposed to be dead girlfriend Letty. Therefore, Cobbs seeks help from Dom and O'Conner to bring down the mercenary group.
The latest movie has super sports cars, aircrafts, military grade trucks, real tanks in its exorbitantly shot action sequences. Further, Ferrari and Pagani Zonda super cars, along with British classics, such as Jensen Interceptor and Ginetta G60 are used in the movie. Michelle Rodriguez rides a tank and drives the classy Jensen Interceptor sports car. The other cars used in Fast & Furious 6 are Ferrari SP1, Nissan GT-R, Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG, Jaguar E-Type, Lotus Elise and Chevrolet Camaro.
