The two-wheeler division of Japanese automobile giant Honda is reportedly in the process of developing a bike that has a capacity in the 150-160 cc range. Several reports claim that Honda has gone ahead to put in an application to acquire the CBX trademark for this bike. Honda CBX, if reports and images are to be believed, is going to quite similar to the CB Unicorn 160 model and it is being said that a lot of features are likely to be taken out from the new model in order to make it more cost effective. For instance, the monoshock suspension will be replaced by a dual-shock absorber and grab rails will also be in the bike. Though the rear panels of the new bike will be similar to Honda Unicorn CB 160, the taillight is likely to be replaced by a new one.

In order to further strengthen its pricing strategy, Honda might introduce CBX with a tubular swingarm. Not only this, a round headlight might be included in the new bike while the tank will be altered as well. Nothing can be said about the launch of this bike but from the looks of it, Honda is targeting a larger customer base in India.
