New Skoda Superb scores a 5-Star in Euro NCAP test

Czech carmaker Skoda has been known across the globe for delivering cars that adhere to global safety standards. This time around Skoda's flagship mid-sized sedan Superb has managed to score a perfect 5-Star rating by Euro NCAP. The vehicle scored a perfect 5-Star as it out-stood on every parameter accounted by Euro NCAP.

The safety parameters take into considerations various factors like occupant protection for adults and children, safety assistance system and pedestrian protection measures. The base model itself gets Electronic Stability Control and Multi-Collision Brake as standard along with other features like XDS+ differential, Front Assist with City Emergency Brake and tire pressure monitoring system (TPMS). Additionally, the vehicle also gets optional safety features like Blind Spot Detect, Traffic Jam Assist and Emergency Assist along with Adaptive Cruise Control, Rear Traffic Alert, Lane Assist, traffic sign recognition and fatigue detection system.

The car's capabilities just does not end here, the vehicle also gets Smart Light Assist feature that enables automatic controlling of high beam in a manner that you get optimal illumination without affecting incoming traffic. The new Skoda Superb is indeed a good proposition in its segment.
