Honda Mobilio's launch in the country created an upheaval in the MUV segment. The car has been promoted by Honda as a perfect family car for the Indian market. In order to further widen options for interested buyers, Honda Mobilio has been launched with V (O) and RS (O) trim alongside the existing E, S and V variants. The newly launched V (O) variant is available in petrol as well as diesel engine at price tags of about Rs 9.46 lakhs and Rs 10.45 lakhs respectively (ex-showroom Delhi). Whereas, the new RS (O) trim is only available in diesel at price of about Rs. 11.55 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi).

Engine specifications have been retained in both the new variants, but the vehicles get interesting features like 15.7 cm touch-screen audio video Navigation system that assist with services like maps, in-car entertainment and satellite-based voice guided navigation. The car is also embedded with Bluetooth communication function that allows the user use their phone hands free and check history or navigate address book while driving.
