Japanese auto maker Honda has gone ahead to reveal its CRF250 Rally concept bike. According to sources, the company has forged a combination of CRF250 dual sport along with the CRF450 Rally racer to design this bike, which makes it look mighty impressive. As of now, Honda’s CRF250 Rally is only a concept version and the firm has not made any announcements to start the manufacturing of production model. Notably, the components of this bike are shared with CRF250L, which majorly increases the probability of it turning into a production model in the near future.
The Honda CRF250 Rally concept is set to be unveiled at the Osaka Motorcycle Show, which is going to be held soon. SFA Streetfighter, another concept bike based on RC213V-S MotoGP, will be sharing the stage with Honda CR250 Rally. Not only this, the Osaka Motorcycle Show will also see the showcasing of two other concept bikes, one of them being the True Adventure bike.
On the technical front, this bike comes equipped with a single-cylinder liquid cooled engine that displaces 250 cc and is capable of producing a maximum power output of 22 bhp along with a peak torque of 22 Nm. Quite impressively, the concept has a claimed fuel economy of 32 kmpl. Industry experts have said that this bike has the potential to do really well in the Indian market, which has become a lot more feasible for adventure motorcycles. The popularity of Honda is surely going to be a big advantage for this model and it might give tough competition to the KTM Duke range.
