Hyundai Motor India Ltd won the Indian Car of the Year 2016 (ICOTY) award for the Creta. Hyundai Motor India wins 3 ICOTY’s successively for its products: CRETA, Elite i20 and Grand i10 as ICOTY 2016, 2015 and 2014 respectively.

The Hyundai CRETA launched in July as the new compact SUV for the Indian market. Hyundai will be exporting the Creta from other to other markets. Also known as the ix25 in other markets, the Creta has some difference from the ix25 to make it different from the competition.
