Mercedes Benz, one of the top most preferred brand in the luxury car segment has announced the launch of its all new locally manufactured C 220 CDI. The fresh sedan roll out from its Pune facility is offered at a starting price tag of Rs. 37.90 Lakh for the C 220 CDI Style trim, whereas the C 220 CDI Avantgarde is offered at Rs. 39.90 Lakhs (Both the prices, Ex-showroom Delhi).

Under the hood, the newly launched Mercedes Benz C 220 CDI gets a 2.2-litre 4-cylinder diesel engine that is capable of generating about 170 Bhp of power with 400 Nm of maximum torque. The vehicle is capable of attaining a top speed of about 233 Km/h and is capable of accelerating from 0 – 100 km/hr in just about 7.4 seconds. The vehicle offers an impressive mileage figure of about 19.27 kmpl, thereby offering a fine balance between performance and efficiency.
