Mahindra will launch the four-door version of their all-electric e2o hatchback tomorrow. The new car is named as the e2oPlus and is expected to provide more space, a fast charging capability and a bigger range than the standard e2o.
Mahindra recently announced that the car's name is an amalgamation of e2o, which stands for energy to oxygen and Plus is for the positive contributions that the car will make in the lives of customers.We all have seen the car's teaser images hinting at the changes that have been brought over. The rear section sports new tail lamps and the fascia is expected to be updated with a new grille. All these cosmetic changes should be in line with Mahindra's new design language.
Furthermore, the test mules of the e2oPlus were spotted taking rounds on Indian roads several times before. These have hinted at a longer wheelbase and addition of two doors to add to the convenience.
The Mahindra e2oPlus is still under wraps and all the details and specifications will be revealed tomorrow at its official unveiling event in Delhi. Though the carmaker is tight-lipped about its details, what we certainly know is that apart from the new looks and aforementioned advantages, the e2oPlus will continue to offer benefits like zero emissions, ease of driving, low running costs and home charging.
