Mahindra's first powerful motorcycle in the country has been in the limelight for quite sometime now. Sources have managed to catch a glimpse on the technical specs of the motorcycle of this bike just ahead of its official launch. Moreover, sources have also revealed that the company dealers have already started deliveries of Mojo to customers.
The Mahindra Mojo gets a 292cc single-cylinder, four-stroke, liquid-cooled fuel-injected engine that is mated to six-speed transmission and generates an impressive 27Bhp of power. The bike gets 21-litre fuel tank, and 320mm disc brake for the front wheel and 240mm disc brake on the rear wheel. The 17-inch Pirelli Diablo Rosso tyres and one-into-two dual exhaust system is hard to miss on. Interested customers can expect an upriding position owing to smartly positioned handlebar and centre-set footrest placement.
The Mahindra Mojo has been designed to handle all speeds with ease and gets upside down front forks, and a swingarm-mounted monoshock at the rear. The bike also gets a lap-timer on its instrument console and an onboard computer that has been designed to limit the engine to 5,000rpm once it heats up. Sources have claimed a decent mileage figure of about 30 km/l in city and about 35 km/l on highway. The most impressive part about this motorbike is the company's claim of achoeving a top speed of about 165 km/h. It is likely to be offered for Rs 1.8 Lakh.
