Maruti Suzuki India is planning to launch a series of new cars and facelifts in the country in 2015. The company will launch the Ertiga facelift in 2015. The vehicle has already been spotted several times during its test rounds on Indian roads. If reports are to be believed, MSI will add the AMT variant to the Ertiga lineup. The updated model will also get some mechanical upgrades.

The Maruti Ertiga facelift will get a revised front fascia with updated grille and bumper. Other changes include new alloy wheels, revised rear bumper, electrically adjustable outside rear view mirrors with integrated blinkers, new exterior paint scheme, added chrome, etc. Inside the cabin, the vehicle is likely to remain unchanged; however, the company might add few additional equipment. The updated model is expected to get Bluetooth-enabled music system, keyless entry, and new upholstery and start/stop push button.

It is expected that Maruti Suzuki will slightly tune the current engine lineup for better fuel efficiency. The fuel economy of the car is likely to be increased by up to 10 per cent. The current engine lineup includes 1.4-litre K Series petrol and 1.3-litre multi-jet unit, which are claimed to return fuel economy of 16.02kmpl and 20.7kmpl, respectively.
