The country top selling car is also set to get safer. The country’s largest automaker Maruti Suzuki has reportedly announced that it shall be offering optional driver airbag across all variants of Alto 800 and K10. Additionally, the company shall also offer left side ORVM. With the fresh optional addition, the vehicle emerges as a strong proposition against Renault Kwid and Hyundai Eon.
Back in November last year, the company had offered ABS and dual airbags as standard across all variants in Swift, Wagon R, Celerio, Stingray and Swift Dzire models. The newer models like the Baleno and the S-Cross comes with ABS and dual airbags as standard. The company had also offered optional safety pack in September last year.
As for the pricing aspect the Alto 800 Lx (O) is offered for Rs 2,98,844, LXi (O) for Rs 3,21,365, while the LXi CNG (O) is offered for Rs 3,78,420. The Alto K10 variants namely Lxi (O) is offered for Rs 3,45,844, VXi AGS (O) for Rs 4,11,609, while the LXi CNG (O) is offered for Rs 4,08,162.
