Moto Guzzi has declared that its Audace model will hit the showrooms in United States before the end of May 2015. The model was revealed at the 2014 EICMA Show in Milan, Italy and was able to gather the immense appreciation from the audience. Notably, Moto Guzzi Audace is designed on the platform of California 1400.
Speaking on the technical specifications of the model, it will come equipped with the same 1380cc 90 degrees V-twin engine, which develops a maximum power of 95 bhp with 120 Nm of torque. Mated to a 6-speed transmission, the model possesses immense power to perform wonders over roads. It must be noted that the Audace has been designed according to the traditional transverse engine layout of the company, which can be clearly seen with its cylinders poking the fuel tank.
It is being learnt that Moto Guzzi has adopted an aesthetic approach while designing the Audace. The bike does not have any chrome work or flashy accessories, and rather the bike features a round headlamp with carbon fiber front fender. On the pricing front of the Audace, nothing is confirmed as of now. It is believed that in terms of looks, it will give a stiff competition to Harley-Davidson Fatboy.
