Nissan India, today, launched a limited edition of the Terrano – the Groove – at Rs. 11.45 lakh (ex-showroom, New Delhi). With additional features and updates, the Groove edition offers benefits worth Rs. 30, 000 at no additional cost. Available in Terrano XL (O) grade, the Groove ‘lifestyle’ edition will be limited to 250 units only.
On the exterior, the limited edition features a matte black wrap on the roof and chrome highlights around the fog lights, bootlid and tailgate. While the exterior updates aren't much, the cabin receives quite significant updates with new features like Rockford Fosgate speaker system, LED scuff plates on the doors, ambient lights and branded fabric floor mats.
The Groove XL (O) is powered by the same 1.5-litre, 4-cylinder K9K diesel engine that also does duty on the regular models. Mated to a 5-speed manual transmission, the engine helps the car return a fuel economy of 20.45kmpl.
Speaking on the launch of the limited edition, Guillaume Sicard, President of Nissan India Operations said, “The Terrano has established itself as a stylish premium compact SUV, which is equally at home in the outdoors as it is in the urban cityscape. With the Groove edition, we want to reach out to individuals who like their cars to reflect their dynamic lifestyle. We are confident that the new additions will make the Terrano even more appealing to them.”
Along with the Terrano Groove launch, the company also announced a new advertising campaign for the Terrano compact SUV that will feature the popular Bollywood actor, Sushant Singh Rajput.
