Skoda has reportedly started with the production of the much awaited 2015 Fabia Estate at its production plant in Mladá Boleslav. Speaking more on the occasion, Michael Oeljeklaus, Skoda Board Member for Production and Logistics said, “The production launch of the new Skoda Fabia Estate is a key element of our comprehensive model campaign. As the best-selling vehicle in its segment, the Fabia Estate is a pillar of the Skoda growth strategy. With its outstanding features, it has everything to attract new consumer groups for both the model and the brand.” The third generation refreshingly new trim shall be launched sometime in the first half of next year.
Speaking of new additions, the upcoming 2015 Skoda Fabia Estate also known as Fabia Combi features about 10 mm longer wheelbase, 33 mm lower and 90 mm wider as compared to the older trim. The vehicle also gets a panoramic moonroof and about 530 litres of boot space. Moreover, Skoda has claimed that the vehicle is indeed capable of delivering impressive mileage of about 33 kmpl which is indeed marginally higher than the outgoing model. Additionally, the new trim also gives out much lower CO2 emissions as compared to the older lot and also features the new assistance systems.
As for the interiors, the new Skoda Fabia Estate provides a range of customization options available for its buyers. Being an important part of Skoda's portfolio since 2000 the Estate has reportedly catered to over 1.1 million customers globally.
