The Ciaz sedan from Maruti Suzuki has been one of the most promising sedan from India's popular carmaker Maruti Suzuki. Recently news had been doing rounds that Maruti Suzuki has been working on developing a special edition of Ciaz that may sport LED DRL's. The spy shots captured by sources indeed spotted the DRL variant undergoing road test in the country.
The anticipated Special Edition Ciaz shall be available in petrol as well as diesel variants, wherein the petrol trim is shall continue to be powered by 1.4-litre K-Series engine and the diesel version shall be powered by 1.3-litre DDiS engine. The sedan would be available in 5 speed manual option as well as in 4-speed automatic gearbox.
The trim that was spotted undergoing road test in the country is stated to be inspired by the 'Aero' variant that was showcased at 2015 Bangkok Motor Show. As per fresh upgrades, the vehicle sported side skirts and bumpers along with diffuser and rear spoilers. For the interiors, the sedan gets GPS navigation system, touchscreen LCD infotainment system and leather seat upholstery.
