Yamaha's almost-litre streetfighter, the MT-09, at a price of Rs 10.88 lakhs, ex-showroom, Delhi. The new MT-09 now is BS lV compliant, among other upgrades.

The MT-09 also gets LED headlamps, adjustable compression for the front suspension, an assist and slipper clutch, and a quickshifter for upshifts. Its engine is a three-cylinder 847cc engine derived from the R1's cross plane architecture. It generates 114bhp and 87Nm. Considering its weight with a full tank of fuel is under 200kg, it should be a really fun ride.
The competition includes the Kawasaki Z900, Triumph Street Triple RS and Ducati Monster 821.
