The 2013 Mumbai International Motor Show (MIMS), a 3-day event scheduled from January 24th to 27th, is organised at the MMRDA Ground. Reportedly, a number of auto makers are participating in the event, including Audi, BMW, DSK Hyosung, Mahindra Auto, Nissan, Skoda, Toyota and Volvo. The inaugural ceremony of MIMS 2013 will mark the attendance of several stars, including Bollywood actor John Abraham and Hannu Mikkola, the 7-time world champion rally car driver.
Besides showcasing car models, auto makers will display cutting-edge technologies and enhancements developed in the automotive sector, which will surely leave the auto aficionados enticed. This show is organised once in every two years and lures a large number of auto companies to exhibit their advanced technologies.
Interestingly, 2013 MIMS has also attracted several international auto brands, which will further lift its standard. The models put on display are categorised in scooters, motorcycles, bikes, luxury cars, passenger cars, specialist vehicles, Sports Utility Vehicles (SUVs) and MUVs segment. Also, an array of car accessories, like batteries, tyres, lubricants, oils and entertainment as well as infotainment systems will be showcased at the event.
The mega show has also organised a classic car section, which will showcase vintage cars. Guests will be also provided with an option to experience the charisma of classic cars and racing cars at different sections. A range of All Terrain Vehicles (ATVs) is also showcased at the event. Other key highlights of the event will be its automotive library and tyre pavilion, which is anticipated to draw the attention of numerous guests.
