Ford has brought about a new aspect at the Autocar Performance Show in Mumbai, where it show case a set of simulation suits. These suits are particularly made for providing a better experience to the most sensitive travellers – the elderly and the pregnant women. The most important factor of these suits is that the engineers have delved into the deepest aspects while empathizing with the most sensitive of travellers. Third age suits have been designed specifically for reducing the mobility when put on, thus inspiring most engineers of Ford to design vehicles, both for young and old.

The first and foremost simulation suit, which Ford has developed, is the Pregnancy Stimulator or Empathy Belly that Ford chooses to call it. This allows engineers to actually get to feel what it is to be like a pregnant woman and the restrictions in mobility that such women face. This will naturally allow the engineers to devise a technique, which will benefit the movement of pregnant women in a Ford car.

Another important inclusion in this list of suits is the Drunk Driving Simulator Suit, which has been specially designed to give a feel of the effects of drinking. Though it is potentially dangerous, there are some people who tend to drive even under the influence of alcohol. This suit can actually give a feel of what it is to drive under the influence of alcohol. This will enable experts and engineers to spread the awareness program for a safer driving and not to mix drinking with driving.

Ford also displayed two of its premium makes, Ecosport and Fiesta, at the Performance Show. People were strapped with these suits and asked to operate the car with these on. Though, there were restrictions in movement, people could operate the two cars quite conveniently, thus showing the expertise of the engineers from Ford.
