Honda has made plans of a huge media event according to the French media on June 11. On this occasion, it is expected that the company will reveal the final model of the RC213V-S, which was unveiled as a concept model along with the True Adventure at the EICMA Show in 2014. This model is eagerly anticipated and is loosely based on the MotoGP model from the Japanese manufacturer.
The bike is powered by a 1.0-litre V4 mill and resembles the MotoGP model in a number of ways. The suspension and the electronics have been carried from the MotoGP model. Also, the construction of the two models is similar in a number of aspects. The dry clutch in the MotoGP model has however been replaced with a wet clutch to boost the longevity. The noise level has also been reduced to acceptable standards. Technical details have not been yet shared by the company as of the now. It is expected that the power output will be more than 200 hp.
The reports have well indicated that the new model will come with a six-digit price tag. The RC213V-S is expected to pull in bike-lovers because of its exclusiveness as well as rich heritage.
