      India welcomes Range Rover LWB Autobiography Black edition worth Rs. 3.75 crore

      Range Rover LWB Autobiography Black is launched in the Indian market at Rs. 3.75 crores for the diesel version, SDV8. Interested buyers of 5.0-litre, supercharged, V8 petrol powered version, may have to shell around Rs. 3.83 crores. The model was initially showcased at the LA Auto Show in 2013, and is designed by the ‘Engineered To Order’ (ETO) division of the Jaguar Land Rover. As mentioned by the moniker LWB (Long Wheelbase), the car has an increased leg room for the second row by 186 mm.

      The front seats of the car has received massaging functionality, whereas the driver’s seat has received a 18-way articulation. Complementing the front seats, the rear seats offer reclining ability and lumbar massage. The vehicle also gets 10.2-inch infotainment screens integrated at the back of both the front seats. At exteriors, the side vents and front grille of the car features a unique finish, whereas the badges are polished in black enamel. This special edition model also has chrome detailing at the tailgate and bespoke high-gloss 21-inch aluminum wheels.

      Coming to its technical specifications, the diesel version comes equipped with a 4.4-liter SDV8 engine, churning out a maximum power output of 339 bhp with and 740 Nm of torque. On the other hand, its petrol sibling has a 5.0-liter supercharged V8 mill producing 510 bhp of highest power and 625 Nm of torque. Both the versions come equipped with an 8-speed automatic transmission for impressive performance outputs.
