Kawasaki has a new model of Ninja ZX-6R 636 in its arsenal, which will be launched in the Indian market. The front fascia of this new generation superbike will feature partially digital instrument console with its side mirrors mounted on the fairing. Next in the league is Kawasaki Vulcan S, which is anticipated to feature a 636 cc, four-stroke, liquid-cooled engine, churning out a maximum power of 129 bhp. Notably, this engine is based on the platform of Ninja 650 and will feature a low seating posture, allowing superb comfort for the rider. The cruising look of this superbike is designed for those who have a penchant for modern built. Although nothing is confirmed as of now, industry experts anticipate that this model will be available in the Indian showrooms by June 2016.

Post the launches of the above mentioned bikes, the company may launch the Z250SL. It is believed that it will be a stripped down version of the Z250, sporting more aggressive look. Sources hinted that this version will be around 20 kg lighter than its sibling. On the technical front, the bike will come equipped with a 249 cc four-stroke, single-cylinder, fuel-injected engine. Nothing can be said on the pricing of all these models in the Indian market, but one thing is for sure that Kawasaki has to adopt an aggressive strategy in order to set benchmarks in the superbike segment. The current market of superbikes is flooded with the likes of Ducati, BMW and low-cost brands like KTM who have carved a niche among the buyers.
