The news regarding launch of the Mahindra Mojo has been floating around for quite some time now in the Indian market. According to a recent report by Bikewale, the bike is likely to be launched soon after the model was spotted testing in Lavasa a few days ago. The report suggests that this run was a part of the final test, following which the bike will be introduced within a couple of months.
Mahindra Two Wheelers took curtains off the production version of Mojo at the 2014 Auto Expo but the model spotted testing has certain alterations. As compared to the model showcased earlier, the spied bike mule featured raised rear seat and fuel tank. Experts feel that this is an excellent alteration by Mahindra Two Wheelers and is likely to enhance the rider’s comfort levels.
This bike features an uplifted handlebar, knee recesses, engine cowl, buffed alloy levers and sporty radiator shrouds. It also comes with a high-mounted LED tail lamp, meaty front USD forks, LED daytime-running lights and dual exhausts.
Mahindra Mojo will be launched with a four-stroke engine that has a displacement of 295 cc, capable of developing 27 BHP and 25 Nm of peak torque. Featuring a six-speed transmission system, Mojo is fitted with Pirelli tyres for excellent gripping.
According to sources, Mahindra Two Wheelers has pinned high hopes on Mojo and it has tested the bike in several parts of the country. Analysts believe that this bike can do really well and the amount of effort put in by Mahindra Two Wheelers to ensure efficiency and performance will surely pay dividends.
