The SHVS technology with brake energy regeneration system converts the wheels’ kinetic energy into electricity through an integrated starter generator. Just so you know, the Ciaz diesel offers a maximum mileage of 26.2kmpl. The hybrid model will also receive some exterior and interior updates.

The Maruti Suzuki Ciaz Hybrid (SHVS) is expected to be around Rs. 1.5 lakh pricier than the top-end model of the existing lineup respectively. Other vehicles that the company is planning to launch withing next 12 months are - Baleno premium hatchback and a compact SUV.
