The AMG line from Mercedes Benz has found a decent number of takers across the globe. Around two years ago, the German automaker had introduced the AMG Sport Line that filled the gap between power packed machines and a regular sedan from the company’s production line. This time around sources have stated that the company plans on including the AMG Sport Line as its entry-level AMG model.
As part of restructuring the performance oriented AMG line, the company has recently introducing the Mercedes-AMG SLC 43, Mercedes C 450 AMG and the GLE 450 AMG that all feature the 3.0-litre twin-turbo V6 engine under its hood. The C 450 AMG could also likely be rebadged as AMG C43. Sources have further added that in the coming days, other models in the AMG Sport Line range may also follow suit. Details on the rest of models may be known in the coming days. In India, the company has recently launched theGLE 450 AMG Coupe that has emerged as a strong competitor toPorsche Cayenne Turbo and the BMW X6.
