After witnessing not-so-good times in the Indian auto industry during last year, it seems that the auto makers are planning to bet high in 2013. Following the same, the French auto maker, Renault is expected to offer a revamped version of its Fluence sedan before the end of current year to the Indian buyers. This model was initially introduced in 2011 and was said to be the company's first model in its Indian portfolio. The reworked model of Fluence was showcased a couple of months back at Istanbul, and is believed to mark presence on Indian roads this year.

Reportedly, the revamped model will feature a new front fascia with a redesigned grille, inspired from the Clio. Owing to the moderate changes in front portion, it seems that the auto maker is planning to transform the already cosy looking Fluence into sharper than before. Industry experts believe that the facelift model will be designed with quality materials at interiors, which somehow lacks in the current version. The dashboard of the upcoming Fluence is anticipated to boasts of a satellite navigation system, whereas the instrumentation cluster will be kept analog-digital.

This time, the French auto maker is planning to price the diesel variants of new Fluence less than the petrol ones to generate an equal level of penchant for both the versions. This could be only done by reducing the level of equipment and features provided within the diesel models against the petrol variants.

In order to compete with the upcoming model of Renault, Skoda India has already pulled up its socks and is looking ahead to launch a reworked model of Superb premium sedan. Reportedly, in second half of 2013, the car maker will introduce this model on the international platform, including India. With the launch of a new model, the auto maker is planning to replace the current generation model. With the launch of a new model, the auto maker is planning to boost its sales figures, as it was unable to perform well last year. Several rumours are revolving around the launch of facelift Superb and therefore, commenting on the performance and designing language of the model will not do justice as nothing is for sure as of now.

From the above two models, auto analysts are expecting a blast in 2013, which will take the market by storm. A thing to note here is that the list of new launches does not end here as buyers have to witness a lot more in 2013.
