Skoda Auto has coined an interesting name for the new edition of its crossover Sports Utility Vehicle (SUV) Yeti. This will be known as the Laurent & Klement edition, coined after the names of Skoda founders Vaclav Laurin and Vaclav Klement. Various new features have been included in this special edition model.
17-inch Annapurna alloy wheels provides a superior stance to this version of Yeti. Interiors of this vehicle are to be done up in leather and will sport black trims. Metal pedals will also be seen, along with Laurin & Klement logos that show up on the dashboard, door sill plates and seats. In addition, bi-xenon headlamps will give better vision in the dark.
The Yeti's Laurin & Klement edition will have petrol and diesel variants, both of which would produce a power of 105 bhp. The petrol engine will be a 1.2 litre TSI, whereas the diesel version is to be powered by a 1.6 litre TDI. Pricing and other important details for this variant have not yet been revealed by the company. This vehicle would be coming to Europe shortly, but there is no information on whether it would hit Indian showrooms or not.
