Tata Indica eV2 [2012-2013]
₹ 4.32 Lakh Onwards
My most recent automobile purchase was the Tata Indica e Xeta
My most recent automobile purchase was the Tata Indica e Xeta, which cost me around Rs. 3.6 lacs. The car can definitely be improved on several accounts, but still manages to serves the purpose of a passenger car the best. The spacious cabin can accommodate around 5 passengers at one point and provide basic comfort features like air-conditioning system, power and adjustable steering wheel, music system with CD and MP3 player.
Assembled with a 1193cc MPFI petrol engine the car delivers a favourable fuel economy of 14 kmpl on city roads and 17 kmpl on highways. The engine has the capacity of offering a maximum power of 65 bhp at the rate of 5000 rpm and maximum torque generation of 99 nm at the rate of 2700 rpm.
On the downside, I have experienced a lot of trouble regarding the vehicle maintenance cost within the initial purchase months. The car regularly needs parts replacement that can be considerably expensive and is not a plus point for this Tata car. Moreover, the car also lacks basic safety functions that has become a necessity for car buyers today. Safety features like Anti-lock braking system, impact airbags and traction control system are not available in this car.
