Tata Motors has silently launched the new Zest Quadrajet 1.3 XTA as a top end variant for a lucrative price tag of about Rs. 8,42,826 (Ex-showroom, Mumbai). The trim gets an AMT transmission that is mated to 1248cc Quadrajet diesel engine that is capable of producing about 88.8bhp of power with max torque output of about 200 Nm. The vehicle is capable of attaining a top speed of about 170 km/hr.
The new trim gets safety features like Anti-lock Braking System (ABS) and Electronic Brake Distribution (EBD) technology, along with passenger and driver airbags, Front Seatbelt Pre-Tensioner, Seatbelt Reminder and Parking Sensors. Apart from this, features like Central Locking, Speed Sensitive Door Autolock and Engine Immobilizer as a standard feature. For entertainment needs, the vehicle gets Harman Touchscreen infotainment system with AUX and USB Compatibility.
The exterior section of the vehicle is adorned with front and rear fog lamps, ORVM Turn Indicators and Daytime Running Lights (DRLs) that compliment the projector headlamps. A comfortable and enhanced drive is assured with Dual-path independent McPherson strut with coil spring and anti-roll bar suspension system for front and a Twist beam with coil spring for the rear wheels.
